#94 Through our readings and the various fishy activities that we have been doing so far, the little babe has been introduced to a fish’s basic parts such as the eye, tail, fins and scales.
In this activity, I have prepared cut-out bodies of fish from colourful construction papers. With only eyes included, this activity required the little babe to include the fishes’ tails, fins and scales.
The first part of the activity had the little babe paint her palm/s with the colour of her choice before printing her coloured palm as the fishes’ tails and/or fins.
The fishes were then left to dry.
The second part of the activity then saw the little babe adding ‘scales’ to the fishes’ bodies by finger printing.
