Hey, Mr Sun, Sun; Mr Golden Sun; Please shine down on me!
And that was what we did with the story board and the felt animal characters (plus a grandma). The little babe would place her tiny hand in the feely bag and take out an animal character. She would then place her little finger (‘cos each character is finger puppet) in it and start singing.
“Hey, Mr Sun!”
Hey Mr Sun, Sun; Mr Golden Sun, Please shine down on …
“Please shine down on grandma.”
“Hey, Mr Sun, Sun, Mr Golden Sun …”
“Please shine down on …”
“Mr Frog!”
And Mr Sun got very busy shining down on all the other animals!
